In the 1980s, we were one of the first recyclers in California to participate in the California Beverage Containers Recycling and Litter Reduction Act. Today we're one of the largest processors of bottles and cans in the state. In the 1990s, we helped pioneer single stream recycling. Working in partnership with municipal and private waste haulers, Allan Company installed advanced equipment and created new procedures to sort recyclables for market.
