Alps Shoe Repair Shop

Ric Eberhart is a 2nd-generation cobbler who began learning shoe and leather repair in 1964 and worked in his Dad's shop until he joined the Air Force in February 1970. After 2 tours in Vietnam, he left the Air Force in January 1974, and worked at Alps Shoe Repair until May 1976 when he decided to go back into the service and retire. Ric joined the Navy and retired in May 1992. While in the Navy, he worked part time at two shoe repair shops in North Charleston, SC.
