The tour was very nice. You definitely want to sit upstairs if possible. My whole family went on an afternoon tour.

Terrific experience. The narrator, Steve, a local science teacher, kept the entire group enthralled for the 1 hour duration of the ride. Bar on boat and kid friendly too. Recommend being on the upper deck for the view / ability to hear the tour guide.

Absolutely outstanding service and experience. The Newport harbor is like none other and it was amazing to see so many incredible yachts, homes, and history. The boat is simple and prices very reasonable. Nice to have drink options as well. Leave yourself time to find the correct wharf if youre not familiar with the area. Its not overly complex, and theyll answer the phone to help if needed, but your experience will be more relaxing if youre not rushed :)

My wife & I enjoyed this tour. It was a beautiful day, which really helped. But the gentleman giving the tour says he grew up in Newport, and seems to enjoy knowing the history behind the city.
Definitely some corny dad jokes, but they werent to bad
Id recommend them if you want to take an hour or so to learn some cold history, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fun, affordable sunset ride. It was nice to have someone who lived in Newport their whole life giving the tour, because we learned a ton about the area. Great if youre first visiting and want a more low-key experience!

Overall a great experience. The guide was knowledgeable and very informative about what you were seeing. We had great weather and a smooth ride - I give only 4 stars because in the confirmation email you get after booking online tickets it gives you a suggested parking lot stating that the lot switches to a flat rate after 3pm so we parked there. However the lot does not change to a flat rate. We could have found less expensive parking elsewhere. Also, the website states that they show you the Newport Mansions on this tour. They do not. You can certainly see large houses on the western side of the island, but they do not go around to the eastern shore where the breakers, rosecliff and marble house are all located. Other than those two misleading bits, we had a great experience.

Its very nice ride boat is not really small but has double floors there is guide on board and he is very funny and knowledgeable. No much things choose at bar and at least they have restroom which is flashed by pedal overall pleased.

We rented the Amazing Grace for a company outing, the vessel was okay but the historical/comical narration was fantastic! I've lived on the Island my entire life, 54 years, and realized I knew nothing about Newport's waterfront history. Brian was awesome..

Captain Brian was certainly one of the many highlights of this boating trip. His immense knowledge of the bay and its surroundings captivated us for the duration of the excursion and he even let some of the passengers navigate the boat for a bit. Did you know Goat Island used to house exiled goats? Well, you'll learn that and much more during your time on the waters with Captain B.
I highly recommend booking this if you happen to be in Newport--5 stars! :-)
