Our Chief instructor, Sifu Neil Cauliffe is trained directly under Sifu Dan Inosanto, Bruce Lee's partner and Protge. Sifu Neil left 2 thriving Martial Arts Schools and Sifu Helana gave up a stable and successful career in Pediatric Nursing to move to South Florida and open school back in 1997. Since then, American Dragon Martial Arts Academy has been dedicated to teaching a unique & exciting martial arts program designed to help our students become strong mentally, physically, emotionally & socially.

read moreWe recognize how much influence that martial arts instructors can have, so we are careful in selecting our instructors. For example, we always hire from within our student body, and consequently, our employment interview process is 3 or 4 years in the making. We do our best to hire only those individuals that personally live up to a high moral code, a code of integrity, courtesy, patience, perseverance, and compassion. And of course, they have to be outstanding martial artists. Mrs. Christman started her training in 1998 at the encouragement of her husband and 3 children, who were all taking classes.

Children who learn martial arts develop the confidence to know that, if they are ever bullied, they have the skills they need to defend themselves. However, the real skill we teach is diffusing situations with words and confidence before they ever escalate to a physical level. Our classes are designed to bring out the best in your child at their current level of development.
