American Rent-All was established in 1986 by Larry Hutson and Tom Peirce. The firm began out as a tool rental firm serving tiny contractors and home owners in NW Ohio and SE Michigan. In 1994, Tom sold his interest in the firm to Larry. American Rent-All was then split between two locations. The location at 2415 South Byrne in South Toledo became the General Rental Center for tool rental and contracting contributor equipment rental and the location at 301 Illinois in Maumee became the Party Supplies and Tent Rental Center.
