Annandale Golf Club was set up in 1906 by several prominent members of the Pasadena community, including Henry Huntington, the famed railroad magnate and philanthropist, and George Patton Sr. Father of the famous American general. The private club has a storied history and included many famous families such as the Gambles, Kelloggs and Weyerhaeusers who sought the mid-climate of Southern California in the early 1900s as a retreat from the cold winters of the Midwest and Northwest.
