A native of Galesburg, IL, he received his undergraduate degree from Drake University and then went on to Southern College of Optometry, completing the doctorate program in 1986. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, and the Mid-State Optometric Society. Dr. Holland is TPA and DPA certified, and provides complete family eye care including contact lenses and treatment of eye disease.

Independent evaluations are available for patients desiring to know if they are good candidates for LASIK. The comprehensive laser eye surgery exam will involve tests you may recognize such as pupil dilation and prescription measurement. Others may be different, such as measuring your cornea in detail and a tear-film test to check for dry eyes. All tests will be explained before they are performed and are painless.
