You are not alone. Many couples struggle with communication. But sometimes, communication gets so difficult, even the slightest comment can spark a fight. Or perhaps you do not really communicate at all any more, simply avoiding fights, living like roommates, but not really connecting. Your relationship can be improved. Starting couples therapy may seem scary, as admitting your relationship is troubled is hard to do. Deciding to work on your relationship doesn't mean you'll be in therapy forever, nor does it mean your relationship is doomed for failure.
