Constructed in the 1890's from desert stone and railroad ties, the original building served as a provide depot and general store for the mercury miners passing through the Dreamy Draw. Today, Aunt Chilada's not only carries on that century old tradition of heartfelt Southwestern hospitality, but dishes out the best Mexican food this side of the border.

The nostalgic feeling you will receive when walking on to our property will transport you back into old Mexico. We have four outdoor patios, three hand-cast fountains, and an original structure that has been standing for well over 100 years. All of the additions over the years were created using of railroad ties from the deconstructed railroad that used to run through downtown Phoenix.
