The 1st store, began by THE George, was set up in 1922 and situated at Inman Square Cambridge Mass. Through the years the shop moved around the city and finally came to rest at Jamaica Plain, MA. In the 1960's; when son Benton took over the helm. For over thirty five years our two main stores were: George's, Jamaica Plain and George's of Somerville Ma. In 1992 Benton's daughter Susan opened a store (Benton Shoe Co. In Manchester New Hampshire. Today, the Manchester and Jamaica Plain stores are open year round for your shopping experience.
