Finest Carpet and Tile was the original firm of Best Flooring. In 1953, feeling Indianapolis didn't have enough competitors in the floor covering industry, Sidney Feldman and a nice friend went into business together to service contract builders. Craftsman Flooring was set up, becoming one of the 1st contract firms for home builders in Indianapolis, a new concept at the time. Today, Best Flooring has moved from its humble beginnings in Broad Ripple, to a state-of-the-art facility complete with it's own warehouse. Situated on the Northwest side of Indianapolis, Best Flooring is better able to meets the requirements of today's home-builders.
