read moreAt the invitation of Bishop O'Hara, the Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province came to Buffalo to administer and staff Bishop Timon High School, named in honor of Buffalo's first Bishop, John Timon. This marked the beginning of the Diocesan High School system. During the fall of 1946, Bishop Timon High School officially opened its doors with a class of 76 freshmen. For three years Timon was temporarily housed at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Buffalo's old First Ward awaiting completion of its permanent site on McKinley Parkway.

We have various need-based and merit-based scholarships which can be applied for, however, these are awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Please apply early! In order to start the process, please complete the FACTS Grant and Aid application by December 14, 2018.

read moreStudents in higher level math and engineering classes learn to use a CAD - Computer Aided Design - program to design and create detailed engineering of 3D models and/or 2D drawings of physical components. They then can print these components using a 3-D printer. These highly technical printers kindles a curiosity about how machines work, how objects fit together, and how the designers, architects, and inventors who build various products have found solutions to a variety of design problems. Used in conjunction with the CAD software, 3-D printers allow our young men to manufacture their own creations.

read moreTo enroll in The FACTS Payment Plan and/or enroll in the FACTS Grant and Aid program for Financial assistance please visit the FACTS website. By enrolling in the FACTS Grant and Aid program, Timon will be able to make a determination of financial need for the following school year. This process should be completed immediately by incoming freshmen and by upperclassmen by March 26, 2020 in order to be considered for financial assistance. Please note: this includes the submission of your most recent Federal Tax return.
