Bishop Watterson High School, established in 1954 under the auspices of the Diocese of Columbus and rooted in the Dominican tradition of the pursuit of truth, is a co-educational college preparatory institution serving the NW Columbus area. Watterson's tradition of excellence was acknowledged when the U. S. Department of Education recognized us as an exemplary school. The loyal support of parents, alumni, and the whole Watterson community enables the student, administration and team to continue to aim to achieve excellence.

read moreDue to the generous support of many alumni and friends, Bishop Watterson High School is able to offer both merit- and need-based financial assistance for students seeking a Catholic education. Approximately 1/3 of our students received scholarships, grants, and tuition assistance totaling more than $1.3 million for the 2020-21 school year. Merit-Based Scholarships: recognize students based on their academic performance or outstanding service, in addition to other qualifying criteria. Note: Several of these are based on results from the Entrance Exam.

We aspire to reflect Christ's teachings in everything we do, because experiencing respect and the love of God from others speaks to young people in a way that words do not. Mary Kate Campbell is a 2010 graduate of Bishop Watterson High School. She joined the staff in 2016 after spending two years as an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor at Tiffin University while completing her Master's in Education Administration.
