Really impressed by their work and overall customer service. From my first contact with the office to scheduling and arrival notices, I noticed a high degree of professionalism. Estimates and bills were very clear, and the text reminders included names and photos of service professionals visiting my house.
Travis and Noah were great problem solvers (there's always a few surprises with an older house,) and were dedicated to making sure everything worked the way I needed it to. And they cleaned up after their work. I would definitely work with this company again!

Scheduling very accommodating, punctual, and efficient. They were kind enough to show me my battery was needing replacement, and my oil was a little brown due to maybe the generator running for longer period of time due to an outage.

First time calling Blackhawk. Needed ballasts removed from a couple fluorescent fixtures due to changing over to LED. Ended up having them also convert the other fluorescents, too. Very happy about that. Andrew arrived right on time and did a very nice job. Also, excellent communication throughout.

We have a Kohler Generator, which I believe, is not a unit that Blackhawk or Steven (the technician) regularly service. They were here quickly and diagnosed our problem. It took about a week to get the part as Kohler is very selfish with their parts. It was installed very fast. We were operational except for a programming detail that fed the WiFi. Steven came out and tried quite a few ways, in the same trip, to conquer the problem, before he had success (it was impressive!). We and Blackhawk are lucky to have Steven as a technician. We are very happy with the outcome!

These guys were crazy good. They responded to me very promptly. Sent me periodic updates about when they would be arriving when they got here. They figured out the problem almost instantly everything was done within an hour, and the fee was extremely reasonable.

Blackhawk Electric gave me the lowest price and were at my house within a couple days to do the installation. Dawson and his crew were friendly and respectful and got the job done quickly. Brian was very helpful post-installation helping me navigate Mid-American's bureaucracy. Overall, very satisfied and I have now have new service to my detached garage and I couldn't be happier.

I called and spoke to Brian, who identified himself as the owner. He was very personable even though I probably explained my issue exactly like a first-time homeowner who has never had to think about electrical problems in my life. Despite my stumbling explanation, Brian said he believed my issue was likely something caused by the electricity going INTO my house, which MidAmerican would fix for free. He very plainly did not want to waste my time or money if he did not have to and said if they can't fix my problem, to call back and he'd come help me out. Well, he was right and I am so thankful for his kindness! I will definitely be calling Blackhawk when I DO need an electrician.
