Our new location will offer the same structured socialization and training services we currently have, but will also offer "board and play" and "board and train" options. Puppy Kindergarten will be offered at our Chittenango location starting Saturday, January 2nd @ 10AM-11 AM. Puppy Socialization will be offered at our Chittenango location starting Monday, January 4th from 8AM-12PM.

Founded in 2000, Blue Prints was inspired by the training philosophy of expert trainers and animal behaviorists such as Dr. Ian Dunbar and Dr. Jean Donaldson. Our philosophy emphasizes the importance of positive reinforcement and proper socialization to shape the behavior of your dog. We integrate this philosophy into both our training classes and daycare services. As the positive reinforcement training method grew among pet owners, Blue Prints had to grow.

Puppies, in particular, learn more from other puppies and well-trained dogs and our puppy training program includes daycare. Senior dogs require added comfort and care and our staff provides a socially stimulating and safe environment to address their special needs.

Each dog teaches us something new and we gear services to help care for your dog from puppyhood into their golden years. From agility training to socialization to exercise with your dog, our specialty classes always teach dogs and owners something new. If our set training schedules do not fit into your personal schedule, you can sign up for private training classes that will teach your dog all the good manners they need.

read morePrivate training is an ideal option if you are looking to fix a specific problem, need more time with our trainers, or require a more flexible schedule. Blue Prints offers the options of holding the private sessions in either of our facilities or in your home. Our trainers will travel up to 25 minutes from each Blue Prints facility. Exceptions can be made but additional fees may apply. Both in-home and in-facility private training sessions last 60-90 minutes and guide you step-by-step on how to shape behavior, what equipment to use, and how to better understand your dog's needs.
