This company is so honest and leads with great integrity that the inspector Tony identified the root cause of where our water was leaking into our basement and said we may not need to install French drains which would have cost us about $4,000. Our previous owner drilled holes into our sidewalk outside of fireplace that leads to our basement for termite treatment.

The cement covering holes eroded and water was leaking into the basement. We covered the holes with cement 2 days ago and with this passing rain not one drop of water is in the basement. We've had three other basement waterproofing companies come to her house and no one noticed it except for blue umbrella waterproofing. The owner even took the time to call me to ask how the inspection went. This is the only company I would use in the future.

We purchased a home that required a lot of work (more than anticipated). Steve and his team were able to solve our water issue in the basement and left it cleaner than when they arrived. We had French drains installed around the whole perimeter of the basement. They were very professional from start to finish. Very fair quote and to be honest the best we recieved. On the day of the project, Tony who had given the quote was there to walk us through everything and get it all going. Even Steve the owner came out and checked in with us. The crew was great. They answered any questions we had, were very hard working and left the house cleaner then they found it. Overall a great experience.

We just had Blue Umbrella come and do our French drains around our whole basement and add two pumps. To start Tony was excellent when we meet with him first. He answered all our questions and we didn't feel pressured in making a decision right away. The day of the install the crew came with Tony and went over everything. They only took 1 1/2 days to finish.

They were extremely clean and polite. Robin the foreman answered all my questions with no hesitation as they were completing the job. They wore masks to insure our safety and theirs. They covered all my belongings with tarps and taped off areas from ceilings to floor with plastic. I was worried about dust ( mainly bc my children have asthma) but they had a fan and honestly I'm amazed how clean it all is. Even outside where their were working was cleaned up. I would highly recommend this company! We are very happy.

Steve was very professionalq, he explained in detail the work that was required and the options I had. The price quoted was very fair and comparable to other vendors. He then stayed in touch throughout the process Steve sent a large crew (7 men) to perform the work.

They got the work completed in a couple of days and did a really nice job. All inspections were approved the first time. There was no rework required. The work area was kept extremely clean and final result came out really good. I would recommend using blue umbrella.

Tony came out to inspect my water issues and did so with honest, straightforward help. Due to the specifics of my issue, he determined their solutions would not be the most viable option, but he still stuck around to thoroughly explain the situation and recommend other options for remediation. I highly recommend Tony and his team to inspect your property as they won't try to sign you up for a job solution that doesn't make sense.

We wanted our french drain replaced before finishing our basement. We found Blue Umbrella through positive recommendations in Facebook groups. Steve's estimate was mid priced and better than some other companies in the area. We are very happy with the work that was done and with Steve himself. He is very responsive, honest and knowledgeable and the work is quality.

He doesn't try to sell you on anything, just provide his best recommendation. I ask a ton of questions and he answered all of them patiently. He stayed in contact when the work was being done and brought extra people to the job to get it done quicker. He was quick to fix some things and came back to explain how everything worked. All contractors that have since come to the house have said Blue Umbrella did everything right with the french drain. I don't say good things lightly and I would highly recommend him.

The crew headed by foreman Jefferson did a tremendous and beautiful job on the basement waterproofing. They arrived early, were professional and cleaned up nicely after themselves. The company owner (Steve) was in constant communication a few days prior to the work beginning and throughout the day of the job until completion. Also the price was very competitive to other quotes I had received from other companies. I think what makes them standout is that they use higher quality pipes, pumps, and equipment for a similar price than other companies. I would highly recommend.

We recently purchased a home, and mold was found due to moisture in the basement. After the mold issue was resolved, we decided to waterproof the basement to avoid further issues. Blue Umbrella was highly recommended. They did a great job. They installed 2 heavy duty 1/2 horsepower sump pumps, 2 emergency battery backup sump pumps with built in high water alarms, 1 heavy duty Santa Fe dehumidifier which removes up to 70 pints a day of water from the air, and installed 14mil vapor barrier on exterior walls, stops moisture penetration, lifetime warranty.

I was unaware of how much work is involved to waterproof a basement. They did a lot of work which would take another page to list everything they did! Their price was fair, and it was worth every penny for our own peace of mind!
