read moreABOUT OUR FOUNDER & WHERE WE CAME FROM: Tommy "The Bomber" Bonacci is a World Champion Jet Ski Racer, winning the world championship in 1989, 1990, 1995 and more recently making his comeback with back to back wins in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Back in the 90's, Tommy worked construction jobs when he wasn't racing jetskis. He found the safety glasses that were given to him on these job sites were extremely uncomfortable and just not cool-looking. He decided to take a pair of sunglasses that one of his jetski sponsors gave him, and with torn-off pieces of foam padding from his jetski, he lined the inside of his glasses with this foam, found them to be extremely comfortable - and the very first prototype for Bomber Eyewear was made.
