I donate at the Leadership Circle level because I believe the SFPL, with its strong network of community branches, provides an invaluable service to people of all ages, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds. The SFPL is a great unifier, one that levels the playing field in a city that has its share of challenges emanating from robust but uneven growth.

read moreWe have downsized donation and used book selling program until the pandemic is over and we can resume community book sales and events. Meanwhile, Friends is focused on what it has always done best - supporting the Library and Library staff step-by-step as they respond to emergency community needs. We will continue to raise money to strategically help the Library provide virtual services, launch SFPL To Go, and collaborate to provide Neighborhood Learning Centers serving our most vulnerable students and families.

Our dear Residents had to roll with the changes that left them unable to access the studio during the shelter in place order. Thank you for your patience. We will miss seeing you, but you are always part of the Residency family!
