read moreFounded in 1984, The BookMine served the Northern California Region as a source for fine books, maps and art. The retail shop was shuttered in 1999, existing now as an on-line book shop. Thanks to all of our friends and customers who found their way to the BookMine over the years.

read morePeriodically, my ole buddy and book-selling colleague, the Late Don Conner and I would respectively run into books that had been penned by authors with oddly (in)appropriate names. This evolved into a game of sorts, the only rule being that we had to have actually seen the book - no proxies!
