In 1994 we started providing free admission to Boulder County Middle School and High School students under a grant from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District. During the six years that the grant lasted, we gave out a total of 452 tickets. Unfortunately, all nice things come to an end and the grant ended with 1999. However, we felt that delivering a cultural experience unlike any other in this area to cash-strapped students was too nice of a thing to let go. We continue to provide free admission to these students (with valid ID)

We strive to produce works that speak to the contemporary experience from an historical perspective and give the audience the opportunity for self reflection that great works of drama provide. TUC Productions emphasize respect for the playwright's intentions, the actor's craft, and the audience's intellect. The Upstart Crow Theatre Company performs classical theatre with a true passion and love for the playwright's words.

read moreTickets can be purchased online, by calling 303.444.7328, or in person at the Dairy Arts Center box office at each performance or during regular box office hours. Seats are not reserved; first come first served. Arrive early to get the best selection. Since 1990, each Thursday performance has been "Name-Your-Price" Night. We realize that even our low regular admission price can be a stretch for some and we don't want that to be a barrier to experiencing these great plays. Instead of a ticket, you'll be given a plain envelope when you enter.
