But, try as we might, we couldn't find this special piece of furniture. It was 1995 and the choices were very limited. There were no Pottery Barn Kids or Restoration Hardware Babys. The idea of designer baby furniture had not been invented. So, we invented it. Stephen, my ridiculously handsome and talented husband, designed our first baby crib for our son, Sebastian.
