Athletic Teams
read moreAthletics provide more than exercise and competition. Sport, at its best, teaches the virtues of humanity: courage, grace, persistence, discipline, and greatness of spirit. Brighton supports athletics as intrinsic to the spiritual as well as the physical well-being of young people. Sports is a vehicle in which young people can learn to work together toward a common goal, respect others, build confidence and develop sound values that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Our coaching staff have had successful athletic careers, and they are eager to share their love of sport and competition with our students.

Why Brighton
read moreAcademic growth is a priority for our students despite their learning challenges. We use evidence-based instructional programs and strategies that engage students visually, auditorily, tactilely, and kinesthetically. Instruction that integrates multiple sensory pathways helps our learners connect to, recall and apply important academic concepts and skills. Evidence-based therapeutic reading programs make it possible for students to successfully engage with oral and written language. Daily therapeutic instruction leads to gains in reading, which positively influences performance in other classes.
Admissions Process
read moreStudents seeking placement at Brighton are considered upon review of a psychological educational evaluation, past academic records, letters of recommendations from current teachers and classroom availability based on the child's unique set of needs. We invite our prospective students to spend three days shadowing one of our current students. Over the course of the three-day visit, our student guests gain first-hand experience of what Brighton has to offer. Not only does a student learn about us during a visit.
