Our graceful San Antonio TX bed & breakfast neoclassical mansion is conveniently situated just down the street from the Fort Sam Houston quadrangle and easily accessible from San Antonio International Airport and downtown by car. This historic San Antonio TX B&B was built from 1906 to 1909 for General John Lapham Bullis, a frontier Indian fighter who played a key role in capturing Geronimo (some claim the Apache chief's spirit still roams the mansion) and beautifully restored in the 1980's. We're proud that our building is a Texas state historic landmark.

We have located a hall telephone which is convenient to all upstairs rooms. Several of Bullis House Inn's romantic rooms have wood-burning fireplaces with mirrored mantles and French windows. All our bed and breakfast rooms are individually decorated in deep rich colors of Hunter Greens, Royal Blues, Burgundies, and Golds.

read moreOur family rented the Bullis Inn for a wedding week-end. The house was decorated abundantly with flowers. A very nice wake-up call on the wedding day was a player piano. An urgent call for a VCR brought one promptly. As thing will happen, we had some miss-communications with the catering company (separate company from the Bullis House). The management of the Bullis readily helped smooth matters out. We made many requests of them, but they never made use feel like we imposed on them. A very friendly place to stay - and get them to tell you the ghost stories & house history - it is educational and entertaining.
