C. McGee's was born on Halloween of 1987 - Scary? We were too excited to be frightened - not unlike many parents out there. The original deli was situated at 708 North First Street in the Historic Itasca Building. Our next location - 800 North Washington Avenue, was opened in August, 1996. The current location, 901 N. third Street opened in May, 2007. Looking back on the past 20 years, it is easy to learn how far we currently have come since that 1st crazy day. However, some things have remained the same.
