Cadwell Law Firm was established by Ulysses S. Grant Cherry in 1890 after he was among the 1st admitted to the newly founded federal district court. Since then, we've been privileged to be a part of the growth and development of this wonderful community in which we practice by counseling families in the legal kinds of their successful growing businesses; by helping them over unforeseen bumps in the road; by representing concerns of national scope whose contact with South Dakota has been prompted by the growing prominence of the Sioux Falls metropolitan area.

We were a founding member of the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce in 1907 and have had had close ties with the business community throughout our history. The breadth and depth of our experience in actual civil trials and appeals is a matter of public record.
