California Traffic Safety Institute (CTSI) is a non-profit firm, which has been delivering staffing and monitoring services to the California Courts in the administration of personal court approved traffic violator schools since June 27, 1985. CTSI operates under the legislative authority of CVC 11205 (l) and (m) as amended in September 1991.

CTSI offers safety programs such as continuing education classes for traffic and driving school owners and instructors, and community grants developed to enhance traffic safety in California with a focus on child safety. In addition, CTSI provides the public a voice as a liaison to the Courts, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the traffic schools. Our goal is to ensure that clients are receiving a quality program, in a safe environment.
