The Cantabile Singers? Music Director directs the choir in performance, leads rehearsals, and has the primary responsibility for the musical and artistic development of the group. The Music Director selects music in a timely manner; prepares the singers and directs concert performances; hires the accompanist and other instrumentalists and obtains any equipment necessary within the budget set by the Board; selects performance venues and schedules; selects section leaders; and determines equipment and musical requirements for concerts.

Robert was responsible for the group's musical quality and growth over almost two decades, and is an integral part of our success. Robert received his Bachelor of Music degree in organ and church music from Stetson University and received a Master of Sacred Music degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He has served as organist-choirmaster in churches in Florida, New Jersey, Michigan and Boulder.
