Cape Fear Credit Union

Cape Fear Credit Union was 1st chartered in 1979. On July 1, 2006, Cape Fear Credit Union merged with Self-Help Credit Union, making it a division of Self-Help Credit Union. On October 1, 2009, a new branch office of Cape Fear Credit Union opened for business in the Brunswick County town of Leland, North Carolina. With the opening of the Leland branch, Cape Fear Credit Union now conducts branch operations in Leland and Wilmington, primarily serving Brunswick and New Hanover counties.
