Bank in Topeka, KS The bank remained in the Neese/Gray family until 1974, when Georgia and her husband, Andy Gray, sold the bank to Gaylen Lawrence and Jim Hentzen. They managed the bank until 1979, at which time they sold it to the Sabatini family. In 1993, Southwest Bank at 17th and Gage was acquired and merged into Capital City Bank. SW State Bank was organized in 1958 by Lou Falley and a group of local businessmen.
