This account will give you access to physical material in the library and digital online resources through www.dcplibrary.org. Registration is effective for 4 years and may be updated and renewed online. You will be required to provide us with a scanned copy of a valid government-issued ID, emailed to [email protected] (your address must match the address on your application).

Because the demands for library services and the needs and opportunities facing the library are growing much faster than the public funds available to support them, the goal of the Foundation is to enrich, not replace, traditional tax-based support through private fund-raising from individuals, businesses, and foundations.

read moreThe Library will borrow material we don't own from other libraries. This is a method of sharing resources among libraries to supplement local collections. Library materials of all types may be requested. Bestsellers, reference books, genealogy books, entire issues of magazines or newspapers, and rare books are generally NOT available. Delivery time cannot be guaranteed. Loan periods vary based upon materials and the lending library's standards of borrowing. The DCPL does not charge for postage, but fees charged by the lending library are passed on to you.
