The Cath-Tip II is a semi-automatic catheter tipping machine capable of performing the most challenging tipping and bonding processes. This machine provides a keypad entry programmable controller for heat controls, part feeding, part clamping and air-cooling. Two stage heating is used to maximize heat control and minimize cycle time. A stepping motor and leadscrew drive are programmed for precision part feeding and placement. One-step quick-change tooling makes product changeovers and die cleaning an easy process. Multiple air-cooling functions are programmed for rapid die cooling.
