High School in Huntsville, AL Set up in 1996, Catholic High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school for students in grades 9-12. Catholic High School is the only Catholic parochial high school in the greater Huntsville area. The school functions under the sponsorship of the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama. The school is a member in nice standing of the National Catholic Educational Association, with accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Applicants are admitted as sophomores, juniors and seniors as space permits. Admission as a transfer student is based on the same criteria as stated above. Upon completion of the admission process, the applicant's file is presented to the Admission Committee. You will be notified of their decision.

read moreEstablished in 1996, Catholic High School has a short but rich history serving the families of Madison County in Alabama and adjoining areas. The inaugural 1996/97 school year of Catholic High School featured Freshmen and Sophomore classes. Each of the next two years saw the addition of another class - Juniors in 1997/98 and Seniors in 1998/99. The Class of 1999 was the first graduating class of CHS. The Class of 2000 was the first 4-year graduating class.
