The Center for Bariatric Medicine has served patients in central and SW Virginia since 1996, providing a medical solution to obesity and chronic overweight conditions. It seemed logical to us to treat the weight problem before the need to treat the other serious obesity-related conditions developed. This doesn't mean that the only hope for patients is persistent hunger. Medical research and literature overwhelmingly support the proposition that a mixture of physical activity.
