We're dedicated to making the right traditional bagels in the S. We mix and bake our bagels from scratch daily in the traditional way. Our bagels are the only ones in the city that are mixed, boiled, and baked on premises and we take pride in that. No steaming or frozen bagels here. Bagels are supposed to be boiled and thats that. Our bagels are provided for wholesale and can be provided free daily with a minimum order.

read moreChicago Bagel & Deli, formerly known as Daily Bagel, started in the early 90's by Bagel artisan Julius Goldman with local and California investors. Mark, our son and baker, became Julius Goldman's apprentice at the early age of 22. Under the wing of Julius, Mark learned the culinary art from start to finish. Before starting our enterprise he mastered the art of creating and shaping European, Italian, challah, levain, and hard crusted rolls. Chicago Bagel was sold to Edward and Marta Morales in 1999.
