About Us
read moreThe campus shared by Chicago Jesuit Academy and Christ the King Jesuit College Prep has a rich history that began in June 1911 when dedication services were held to celebrate the completion of Resurrection of Our Lord Church and Rectory. The Parish completed the accompanying Resurrection Parish Grade School, which was run by the Sisters of Mercy, shortly thereafter and began serving students in September 1911. Due to Resurrection's rapid growth in the 1920s, a second school building and a 1,500- seat auditorium were erected in 1926 next to the original school.
