Child & Adult Food Program

The Metropolitan Development Council's Child Care Food Program is a federally funded program founded to ensure proper nutrition for all kids being cared for in licensed daycares. Our program is available to licensed home daycare providers in Pierce, South King, Kitsap and Thurston Counties. The program reimburses you for a mixture of two meals and one snack, or two snacks and one meal for each daycare child per day. The food program, and all of its benefits, is available at absolutely no cost to you.
