
Incorporated in 1957, Forest Hills covers approximately 9. 47 square miles, and in 1990 had a population of 4, 231 residents. It is bordered on the N by Harding Place, on the S by Old Hickory Boulevard, on the W by Chickering Road, and on the E by Granny White Pike. Hillsboro Pike (State Route 56/U. S. 431) is situated just W of the city's center and serves as the main N/S corridor within the city limits.
