Since 1922, C. L. Schust Company, situated in Fort Wayne, IN has serviced the commercial roofing requirements of Indiana. The founder, Clarence Schust, sold the firm to five key employees in 1959. One of the new owners, Bruce Winebrenner, eventually acquired 100% of the whole firm and in the mid-1980s sold the firm to his two sons. In March of 2001, Robert W. Schenkel purchased C. L. Schust Company. The Schenkel name has been affiliated within the construction industry within Indiana for over 115 years from general contractors to architectural companies.
