Clark Mishler Photography

Trained as a graphic designer, Clark James Mishler was 1st introduced to the photographic process in 1970 while studying at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. In 1977, Mr. Mishler was hired as a layout editor by the National Geographic Magazine in Washington D. C. And returned to Alaska in 1979. Over the past 20-five years, Mr. Mishler's editorial photography has been published in numerous regional, international and national publications. Mr. Mishler's 2007 book, ANCHORAGE, LIFE AT THE EDGE OF THE FRONTIER, was awarded 1st place for nonfiction by the Independent Publisher's Association.
