Testimonials
read moreSo relieved to have finally found a *genuinely* cat-friendly vet hospital for my new rescue kitty! Most people have no idea what a huge difference it makes in the quality of care your cat receives when the veterinarian is a feline specialist. I've worked in the veterinary field for a number of years and have extremely high standards for veterinary care for my cats, and this hospital did not disappoint me. My cat is very timid and shy and needed to board with them for a couple of nights, and she seems to have done very well there.

Helping Your Kitty Have A Pleasant
read moreFear is the primary cause of misbehavior while at the veterinarian. Understanding this can help decrease problematic veterinary visits. Bring along the cat's favorite treats, toys and blanket. Perform regular home maintenance procedures, including grooming, nail trimming, and teeth brushing. Playing "vet procedures" that mimic temperature taking, ear cleaning and pilling can help your cat better adjust to veterinary hospital for "fun" visits, involving no examinations or procedures provide owner's and staff with the opportunity to reward the cat with praise and food treats.
Adoptions
read more2. Find a cat whose personality meshes with yours. In general, cats with long hair and round heads and bodies are more easygoing than lean cats with narrow heads and short hair, who are typically more active. Adoption counselors can offer advice to help you match the individual cat's personality with your own. 3. Schedule a veterinary visit within the first few days after adoption. Make sure to bring along any medical records you received from the adoption center. According to Dr. Larry Kornegay, president of the AVMA, getting your new cat to a veterinarian early will help make sure there are no underlying illnesses or injuries and allow you to develop a plan to help your new pet live the happiest, healthiest, longest life possible.
Our Hospital
read morePhoebe was our first clinic cat that we rescued. Phoebe is sadly no longer with us but she will always have a place in our hearts. Donations offered to raise funds for less fortunate comunity kitties are made to THE PHOEBE FUND named in her honor. She spent most of her time at the front desk, and occasionally you could find her in the window, basking in the sun. She often gave us high fives, and she enjoyed sneaking Snow's food too!
