After having taught music in the public school system for almost ten years, Todd now teaches private lessons in Salinas, California in his studio in Old Town Salinas at 14 Mid-Town Lane. For the last fifteen years or so, Todd has been teaching 40 lessons a week in his private studio and has taught 100's of students. Including many who have made the Monterey Jazz Festival's Monterey County HighSchool All-Star Band. These students have performed in Japan and at the Monterey Jazz Festival along side the MJF's Next Generation Jazz Orchestra.

I can't say enough about his influence, most notably his support in helping my son pursue a jazz studies major in college with a merit scholarship. I have known Mr. Todd Clickard in a professional educational environment for many years, and would like to express fervent support for his selection as music teacher. He has taught a multitude of young students who have participated in Monterey Jazz Festival's education programs in both woodwind and brass for years, and his pedagogy is solid.
