I'm Sarah Furstenberg, and I opened Clover in June 2004 in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Before I moved to Seattle, I was graphic and textile designer. In addition, I worked in a kids's store in San Francisco. I'm a mother of two boys who were 6 and 10 when the store opened. The store is a reflection of the toys, clothes and other things my kids have needed and loved to play with, as well as all the wonderful things I wished I had when I was a child.
