Driving School in Worcester, MA We're the Central Massachusetts Chapter of the National Safety Council. A private, not-for-profit organization that supplies safety education for individuals, firms and municipalities throughout Worcester County. We're fully accredited by the National Safety Council, a charitable, non-profit and tax-exempt entity chartered by the US Congress in 1913. Incorporated in 1917 as the 1st National Safety Council chapter in New England, we're governed by a volunteer board of directors elected annually by members.

read moreCMSC has always supported Massachusetts' Graduated License program that. Since 1999, it has reduced teen driving fatalities by 48%. Our mission at CMSC is zero teen fatalities. To accomplish this we must work together with parents to train a new generation of defensive drivers, saving lives one driver at a time. The state law requires a teen to gradually earn a driver's license in stages including: classroom, learners permit and 6 months of driving practice.

Proud father of 3 sons and 4 grandchildren, Tim was born on Vernon Hill, schooled at Saint John's and Assumption College, and has dedicated his life to the service of others. Before founding the Central Mass Safety Council Auto School in 1987, Tim served on the Worcester Chamber of Commerce and since then for 20 years as a Worcester City Councilor and Mayor.
