read moreI used Collegian Movers for my move from New Haven to Boston on Aug 31. Everything about the service was exceptional quality. They were friendly and professional. They arrived on time, and packed up the truck very efficiently. I had a parking spot reserved for the moving truck at my destination, but of course it was occupied when we arrived. They improvised without complaint and got the job done. I was moving into a ground-level unit, I had told them upon reserving the company that there were no stairs to go up or down. I had a few pieces of large furniture, including a very large and very heavy armoire, that did not fit through the ground-level entrance. Without a complaint or a second thought, the men took these large and heavy pieces up a flight of stairs, and then back down another flight.
All of my furniture and boxes arrived undamaged, the men helped me set up everything exactly where I wanted it. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. I have used other moving companies before and never had such a good experience. I am so grateful to have found them!

Great service!
I rarely write recommendations, but Ramon and Mente were wonderful helping me move an elderly family member from a two room apt to a one room studio on very short notice. They arrived the day after we called, on time and ready to move. They worked great with me and with the other staff at the facility. Ramon obviously had experience with moves like this and I felt immediately at ease. I had no time to organize any items for the move and didn't know what would even fit/remain, but Ramon guided me through with a plan. The move was within the building, but involved paring down belongings and moving some to another address, as well as taking items to the dump. They were polite, neat, careful, organized, friendly, supportive — EVERYTHING that I needed to help make this move less stressful and go smoothly. I'm grateful for their service and would recommend them for anyone with a senior move. Value for Money

The best experience
I had the best experience today with them! Ed,Jose,and Joe were my movers and they were efficient,kind, careful and nice!! It was great working with them. Ed explained everything at the beginning so no surprises when it was time to settle. Moving is such a stressful situation but all three made it much easier for me. Jose even left me with so very insightful words of wisdom!!! I was very thankful for all they're kindness and hard work!! Definitely recommend!! Value for Money

We recently hired Collegian to help us move from our apartment to our first home. The movers were on time, professional, and will go the extra mile to help out where they can. They even came with me to our storage unit to help move a large table. Of note, we had several delicate pieces of furniture to move and all were delivered in perfect shape.
The booking process was also very easy and no B.S and at the end it was a more than fair price for the work done. I would never even think of calling another moving company after this experience.

This review is specifically for the three men who did the job for me this past Saturday. Nick Patch, Larry, and Isaac were phenomenal, and I cannot stress that enough. I've moved 9 times in 17 years, and every time I've hired a moving company, it's been stress, aggravation, and "extra" charges. So when the experience is actually good, I want to shout it to the rooftops.
However, here's the thing — my move can be great, but yours could be a disaster. It's all about the guys who come to do the work. So, if you're going with this company, you want to ask for Nick Patch, Larry, and Isaac specifically. They're going to get the job done quickly, they're not going to mess around, and they're going to move your stuff as if they were moving their own house.

Dwight and Kadany worked so professionally. They carefully wrapped some of my fragile items. They were moving so fast for pick up and delivery. They even lifted boxes up high into storage shelves that I would never be able to do. I appreciated them so much.

They were great! I've unfortunately had to use movers a few times over the years and when my son had to move, I set him up with Collegian. My experience from start to finish couldn't have been better. Fair in price and responsive to any question and concern. I previously used another mover I found on BBB. He was a crook and it was terrible. (I don't think those BBB ratings can be trusted)

The move with Collegisn couldn’t have been better. It was a very long day. We moved from a large house to a small condo and dropped off half of the stuff at a storage facility. These 3 men showed up exactly on time. We were panicking because we were not ready. But they came in and got us ready. They helped us finish packing, organized everything appropriately. They knew what they were doing, were experienced. They were thorough, extremely organized, professional and great communicators. They took great care with my ‘fragiles’. They hustled, were masters at packing the truck and were pleasant and upbeat, despite our frustrations. Couldn’t have asked for a better team. The value for service was phenomenal.

I found Collegian through a Reddit recommendation. I’m very happy with them and couldn’t recommend them enough. The movers were punctual, professional, and efficient. Dwight, Leo, and Dan were great. We moved to a third floor walk up, and they moved everything so quickly. They handled our stuff carefully. Nothing was broken! They really know what they’re doing. The price is extremely reasonable. It was about a 5 hour move and we spent about $1,150. We did our own packing. We had a great experience with Collegian!

Our move with Collegian Movers couldn't have been better. It was a first class operation all the way. George was excellent to work with during the planning stage. He was extremely insightful on all aspects of moving and obviously very experienced working with customers planning a move. Dwight and his moving crew (Leo and Dan) were excellent. They were prompt, friendly and extremely careful with our stuff. They worked extremely hard and made the whole experience a pleasant one for us, which is sometimes not the case when you move. I would highly recommend Collegian Movers to anyone in CT considering a move.

We had a WONDERFUL experience with Collegian Movers yesterday! Isaac and his 2 coworkers showed up on time and were super fast- we were both shocked at how quickly they got everything moved for us. They were all very friendly and helpful, and took extra care with our fragile boxes. Also, Collegian Movers had the best prices for our move of anyone around. We will definitely be using this company for our moves in the future, and highly recommend them! 10/10 :)
