This may be my favorite review to leave, ever. I really don't know where to even begin, so going to try my best. My husband and I knew we wanted to get married, however we wanted to do it in our own way, but still didn't really know what that quite looked like. After stumbling on Colt Hannah's site, we met for coffee. They were so kind and patient as they listened to our ideas about a formal wedding vs. eloping, and we sort of had a brainstorming session.

After that initial meeting, everything felt less chaotic. My husband and I walked home, and one thing we were both in agreement on was if there were only 5 people at our ceremony, Colt and Hannah had to be a part of it. I couldn't have had a better experience with them. Our photos were truly unique and different from others I've seen. They are so passionate about what they do, it really carries over to their craft. However, what was even more special for us was having them there on our wedding day.

They eased all of us, our own marriage jitters but also my mom's anxiety about the weather. Everyone was more at ease with them. They really helped us navigate it all. Colt was our wedding officiant and put so much love and thought into it. He really nailed our love story, and we were all crying. We didn't just get any photographers for our wedding, Hannah and Colt were a part of our family and made some of our favorite wedding day memories, and for that I will be forever grateful for them.

Colt and Hannah did an amazing job with both our engagement photo session and our wedding. They were easy to work with, responsive, kind, and timely with the turn around of our photos. I HIGHLY recommend using them for your wedding.

Colt and Hannah are AMAZING! They were our photographers and videographers for our wedding, and went above and beyond! So thankful to have had them be our photographers for the most important day, I wouldn't have trusted anyone else! Their photos are timeless and so gorgeous! Colt & Hannah were the photographers for our wedding in October and they were completely amazing! Throughout the entire planning process they made us feel at ease, assuring us that any changes due to COVID could be worked with. They captured our day perfectly and made the whole process so easy! They created a casual and fun experience while beautifully capturing our day.

We were drawn to them originally because of how natural their images look, they don't look overly photoshopped or filtered. The gorgeous fall colors, the emotions, and the happiness of the day are easily visible in every image. The natural beauty they capture is evident in every photo, and we loved how easy they were to work with! Colt & Hannah are very affordable photographers in the Durango area, especially for the service and work they provide!

Colt and Hannah were the perfect combination of professionals who are also fun to work with. They were super responsive during the process of hiring them and discussing what we wanted for our wedding. They were willing to start doing some videography work despite it not being a part of their core offering at the time and they even brought a new person on board dedicated to that purpose.

The quick turnaround of highlight photos was a joy and the quality of both their photographs and amazing video production was unbelievable. They really know how to capture the moments and the amazing scenery they happen in. All of this while being a joy to work with. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality photos or videos, especially in a beautiful outdoor setting!

Colt and Hannah were amazing. We got married at Purgatory Resort in 2020 at the top of Lift One and they helped make the day memorable. We were originally drawn to their photos because of how they balanced capturing the landscape and the couples in their photos. The location of our wedding was incredibly important to us and we wanted our wedding photos to reflect that.

On the day of, they were both very professional and really helped put us both at ease when they took photos. They directed us through the first look and photos during the golden hour. We felt a bit awkward (both of us don't like having our photos taken), but Colt and Hannah made us comfortable. They got great candid photos of the wedding, amazing landscapes, and we love the detailed photos.

I am very happy that we were able to work with Colt and Hannah and would highly recommend them to anyone. I would also totally recommend them for hiking partners - essential if you are going to elope!

Colt and Hannah were absolutely wonderful to work with! My family and I drove up from Albuquerque to take photos in Durango and the weather forecast was calling for rain the day we scheduled our photo shoot. I called Colt in a *mild* state of panic and he wasted no time checking the weather and ensuring the spot he and Hannah scouted would receive snow instead of rain.

We toughed it out and I'm so thankful we did! The pictures are just beautiful. Additionally, they were so sweet and were awesome with our kids! Colt and Hannah are some of the sweetest people I've met, 10/10 would recommend. :

Not only did Colt & Hannah take amazing photos they also helped make our wedding day run smoothly. They are an experienced team of wedding photographers who were able to capture all the special moments and unique touches on our busy day. Where do we start? From the moment Colt and I established communication, I knew he was the one for us! Colt captured our elopement so seamlessly, without flaw, and absolutely blew us out of the waters with how he treated us! Never once did he make us feel unwelcomed, or uncomfortable even when he was helping me put my wedding dress on! Haha! My husband and I are not from Colorado but wanted to do a destination wedding with just the two of us. Colt and I stayed in constant communication via email for months asking questions and understanding exactly what we wanted for our wedding photos.

He went out of his way exploring and sending us photos of the different locations he found WITH how much of a hike it would be, how steep, and how long it would take us to get to the locations. Which was SOOOO helpful! Because my wedding dress was somewhat heavy and I forget things. Lol. He went out of his way a few times to run back to his truck to get items I forgot inside for our photos.

He also made us so comfortable! We were able to be ourselves without skipping a beat or having to warm up to the idea of having a photographer snapping away! He even set up a fire to keep us physically warm in the cold, mountainous air! We couldn't have asked for more. Colt has just set the bar for all photographers. I 100% recommended and support anyone's decision to use Colt Freeman Studio.

You will NOT be disappointed by any means! He's adventurous, personable, experienced, and gets just excited, if not more excited, as you are during the session! Thank you Colt for everything you've done for my husband and I! We are blown out of the waters with the service you have given us!
