Community Health Training Center

The mission of the Community Health Training Center is to supply maternal/child health and nutrition related programmatic and computer-based instruction to all local and state human service employees to assist their customers achieve maximum self-sufficiency through integrated family oriented services. The Illinois WIC Training Center (IWTC) of Springfield was set up in January of 1991. Both State and local agency staff from the WIC program were trained in programmatic issues and computer software use in accordance with Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines.
