Community Tissue Service
read moreWe each carry within us gifts enough to give life and hope to as many as one hundred and twenty-five other people. Everyday CBC hosts up to three blood drives on a bus where all blood drive activity occurs on the bus. We are also going out into the community with The LAB, a mobile classroom hands-on learning experiences on how the heart, blood and circulatory system work. CBC/CTS provides donors the extraordinary opportunity to save and enhance lives through trusted community-based resources for transfusion and transplantation.

Both the American Association of Blood Banks and the American Association of Tissue Banks accredit CBC/CTS. CBC is also a member of America's Blood Centers, a national network of non-profit, local, independent community blood centers that collect about half (47 percent) of the U.S. blood supply.
