The Cookie House was set up in 1975 within Hanes Mall in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The store started as a firm store franchise The Cookie Factory. The firm owning the store was Parco Foods. After the 1st year, the franchise was sold. After nine years, in 1985, the rights to the franchise were purchased and the store became an independent store. At that time, the name was changed to The Cookie House. In 2007, the store went under new ownership for the 2nd time since it was opened in 1975.

read moreWhen you walk by this place at the mall the smell really draws you in! I love a good cookie and this place does not disappoint if you are in the mood for a warm, sugary, doughy treat. My husband is a big fan of a good old cookie cake, for his birthday I figured I would order one from The Cookie House. I like that you can pretty much pick any design your little heart desires and they will make it happen. As you can see from the photo I went with a guitar and I think it looked really neat and fun.
