Back in 1989, when Crab Shell opened as the one of the first restaurants on the West Branch of Stamford Harbor, we knew it was a risk worth taking. The area was primarily industrial and undeveloped, but we believed we would succeed by offering a great selection of fresh seafood and traditional fare, coupled with friendly service and a one-of-a-kind waterfront ambience. Thirty plus years later, we are still rocking the dock and having a great time doing it.
