Alumni & College Swimmers
read moreAt Crawfish Aquatics, success is not only sought after-- it is a tradition. Since the first athlete group of graduates in 1999, we have continually sent graduating swimmers to swim with various college programs. We are pleased to share where our student-athletes venture off to each and every year. If you are an alumni that would like to be involved in future alumni projects we would love to connect with you.
Giving Back
read moreIn addition to the programs described below, Crawfish has provided financial assistance, offered free camps and opened our facilities to families in need during natural disasters in the south Louisiana region. Crawfish Agape International was founded in 2015 and functions as the nonprofit arm of Crawfish Aquatics. It supports Louisiana communities with water safety education presentations in area schools, outreach swimming lessons, swimming scholarships, water safety education materials that are distributed for free, and engages the community in many other areas through aquatics and educational programming.
Be Water Smart
read moreLearning to swim and improving a child's swimming ability can increase personal safety and introduce them to a physical activity and a lifetime sport. Make sure you and your child know how to be safe and make smart choices around the water but never assume your child is "drown-proof". Improving water safety should be a year-round activity. Drowning usually happens quickly and silently without any splashing or screaming and often when a child is left unattended or during a lapse of supervision. Even if a lifeguard is on duty, a parent should always supervise his or her child, regardless of the child's swimming skills.
